About the Position

The postholder will design, synthesise and characterise organic semiconductor materials for integration into wearable skin sensors. They will also contribute to the development of sensor devices and present research results in interdisciplinary feedback loops.

This is a 12-month appointment with the possibility of extension. The post is either UCL grade 6b (£38, - £41,) or grade 7 (£43, - £51,) per annum, including London Allowance of £5, .

Appointment at grade 7 is dependent upon having been awarded a PhD. If not, initial appointment will be at Research Assistant Grade 6B with backdated payment at Grade 7 upon PhD submission.

About You

The candidate will have a PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Chemistry or a related field. Essential experience includes organic semiconductor synthesis and device fabrication. Prior experience in chemical sensor design and fabrication is desirable.
