About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team at HM Prison Highpoint South, a Category C men's prison in Suffolk, England.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team carrying out comprehensive assessments, initiating and reviewing care plans, and developing treatment options.

You will undertake medication rounds, assess and treat patients who may have undergone traumatic experiences, and assess patients' health needs using an evidence-based framework.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to £38,115 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop treatment options
  • Undertake medication rounds and assess patients' health needs
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care
