Job Title: Senior Community Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team in Newmarket and surrounding areas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with mental health care needs, providing planned care, risk assessment, and screening. They will work closely with the Senior Nurse and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of practice and effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of patients with mental health care needs
  • Provide planned care, risk assessment, and screening
  • Work closely with the Senior Nurse and other healthcare professionals
  • Advise the Responsible Medical Officer and other healthcare professionals on patient care
  • Ensure service users and carers are empowered to make informed decisions about their care
Requirements:
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Nursing degree or equivalent
  • Ability to travel independently
