Carousel Buses is part of the Go-Ahead Group plc, a leading public transport operator in the country. With a fleet of around 90 vehicles and over 150 employees, we operate local bus services in and around South Buckinghamshire.
The Role
We are seeking a Transport Training Co-ordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and co-ordinating a comprehensive training programme for new starters, including trainees and PCV drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and co-ordinate a comprehensive training programme, covering DVSA Driver Training Modules, legal compliance checks and ticket machine training.
- Maintain accurate training records and provide on-road training, feedback and vehicle type familiarisation.
- Mentor new starters to ensure they are confident and competent in their roles.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need a full, valid driving licence and experience within the transport industry. A PCV licence is also essential. A general teaching qualification (level 3) or experience within a similar role would be preferred, but full training will be provided.
