Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Transportation Division, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of highway improvement and maintenance schemes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet agreed standards and stakeholder requirements.
  • Support project managers and teams in delivering projects using key project management principles, including risk management, quality control, and safety.
  • Coordinate resources to achieve successful delivery, ensuring Atkins quality of work is maintained and balanced against client requirements.
  • Identify and document specific actions, including work streams, to produce project deliverables.
  • Maintain and develop excellent stakeholder and alliance relationships.

Requirements:

  • A degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, experience of project management ideally across transportation schemes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Appropriate previous experience of working in this field.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams or work independently.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to report financial and progress information to client audience.
  • Ability to assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues.
  • Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
  • Network effectively, negotiate well, and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project.
