Learning Development Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to support the development and delivery of learning and development opportunities across all services.

This role offers a hybrid model of home-based and office-based work within the Civic Complex, Motherwell. The successful candidate will be part of the Talent and Organisational Development team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of behavioural and technical skills training, mandatory and regulatory development, and vocational qualifications.
  • Assisting in the design and delivery of learning and development activities using a blended approach, including developing e-learning modules.
  • Working with the Senior Learning and Development Advisor and the Leader and Talent Development Manager.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with extended experience of working within a learning and development environment.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with various group sizes.
  • Confident facilitating on Microsoft Teams.

Benefits include 27 days annual leave, 6 public holidays, and a wide range of benefits available to employees.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
