About the Role

Massenhove Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Liability Claims Handler to join their growing Casualty team.

The role of the Liability Claims Handler is to efficiently handle EL & PL claims for both personal injury and third-party property damage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process Liability claims from inception to closure.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and assessments to determine claim validity and liability.
  • Communicate with claimants, policyholders, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and risk management, to ensure seamless claim handling.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims activity and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Liability claims handling, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
