Job Summary:

Hunter Savage is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to oversee engineering management and supervision on diverse projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a company that values its employees and provides a supportive and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site-based staff including Engineers, Apprentices, and Students.
  • Supervise subcontractors and provide necessary instructions and support.
  • Ensure project contract documentation is up-to-date.
  • Maintain high compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage and update construction programs and resource allocation.
  • Ensure project completion meets specifications.
  • Assist the QS team with project commercial aspects.
  • Represent the business to clients and stakeholders, building and maintaining effective relationships.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with standard construction contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Positive attitude, cooperative, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Valid driving license.
