Senior Civil Engineer

At Hunter Savage, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering management team, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering management and supervision on diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site-based staff, including Engineers, Apprentices, and Students
  • Supervise subcontractors and provide necessary instructions and support
  • Ensure project contract documentation is up-to-date
  • Maintain high compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Manage and update construction programs and resource allocation
  • Ensure project completion meets specifications
  • Assist the QS team with project commercial aspects
  • Represent the business to clients and stakeholders, building and maintaining effective relationships

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Civil Engineering
  • Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with standard construction contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software
  • Positive attitude, cooperative, and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Valid driving license
