Senior Civil Engineer (Design)

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in design to join our team in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

We are a leading independent Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy, and we are looking for an experienced professional to lead our design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design of civil engineering projects, including commercial and retail developments, sports and leisure facilities, and healthcare projects.
  2. Manage projects with input from the team leader, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  3. Develop and solve design problems, identifying discrepancies in results and providing guidance to entry-level engineers.
  4. Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Contribute to company objectives by achieving individual KPIs as laid out by the line manager.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2:1 degree in a related engineering or associated technical degree.
  2. Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
  3. Proficiency with PDS software and AutoCAD.
  4. Experience with drainage strategies, FRAs, and S106 and S104 applications.
  5. ICE Chartered (preferable, not essential).
