Civil Engineer

Vickerstock is delighted to be working with a specialist European based Contractor involved in the delivery of renewable energy, subsea cable and marine projects.
About the RoleYou will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, marine operations, technicians and other professionals to support in the development of detailed designs and delivery of projects on a variety of subsea and landside cable projects.
Key Responsibilities- Be a Civil Engineer or other relevant discipline within the marine and environmental or have experience of cable and/or pipelines (Water/Gas) installation on land.
- A minimum of 3-years post-graduate experience working in as a contractor or in consultancy environment.
- Can work in a team and within a rewarding and challenging environment.
- Strong technical and organisation skills in the delivery of projects.
- The ability to lead design development, assigning workload and monitoring progress and liaising with clients.
The salaries within this emerging / business sector are excellent with substantial opportunities for development and promotion in this new start-up company.
There are also many opportunities to travel to deliver projects which are generally of short durations in Europe, including France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Italy.
The expectation is that the role is a mixture of hybrid working between, home, office and site.
