We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to join our team at Brakes Food Shop. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of enterprise risks across our UK businesses.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure that risks are monitored and managed effectively, and that our Enterprise Risk Management Framework is aligned with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational, cyber, and reputational risks.
- Collaborate with internal audit to test controls and ensure their reliability.
- Work with functional risk leads to ensure risks are fully owned and managed throughout our UK businesses.
- Support the development and implementation of our SOX key control framework.
- Proactively support and develop our enterprise risk management framework to keep it relevant and part of our culture.
- Support the governance of risk in monthly working group meetings and quarterly Exec steerco meetings.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Risk Manager who can positively influence senior stakeholders and drive business performance. You will have a strong background in risk management, with experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in risk management, with a strong background in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk management concepts to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
