Job Title: Occupational Health Specialist

Freightliner Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining the highest levels of health in all colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a comprehensive and confidential Occupational Health Service to all staff at Freightliner Group.
  • Advise, support, and liaise with Human Resources, management, and colleagues regarding occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Identify health trends and support issue-specific improvement frameworks where gaps are identified relating to occupational health hazards, health surveillance, drugs and alcohol, and medical fitness-to-work requirements.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC Register.
  • Post graduate qualification or significant experience in occupational health with a strong case management background.
  • Training/experience in undertaking Drug and Alcohol testing, Audiometry, Spirometry, and HAVS.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Law and its application to Occupational Health.
  • Previous experience of working within a previous rail environment or other relevant highly regulated and safety environment.
