Job Summary

CDW UK seeks a highly skilled Configuration Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of the UK configuration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a shift, managing processes, and ensuring team efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day Management: Oversee the Configuration function, focusing on administration, accuracy, and leadership.
  • Team Leadership: Drive accountability from team leaders, develop their leadership skills, and provide daily direction to ensure high productivity.
  • Process Management: Ensure adherence to CDW processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance team performance.
  • Communication: Set a daily vision for the shift, communicate issues and successes from other shifts and departments, and promote a one-team ethos.
  • CDW Way: Drive adherence to the CDW code of conduct and set an exemplary example for the team.
  • Business Management: Manage KPIs, waste reduction, target setting, and overtime management, as well as performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, recruitment, and absence management.
  • Customer Interaction: Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure excellent service levels and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements
  • Extensive Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Configuration procedures and CDW NDC processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present performance KPIs, set targets, and manage overtime.
  • Analytical Skills: Showcase excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
