Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead and manage the engineering team in Rugby. The successful candidate will oversee the operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team in Rugby
  • Oversee operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs
  • Carry out regular inspections to identify and resolve issues
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the team

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong knowledge of industrial / manufacturing operations and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
