About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to lead our engineering team in Rugby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team in Rugby.
- Oversee operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of industrial/manufacturing operations and procedures.
- 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant would be beneficial.
