Job Description:
Educational Support Worker
About the PositionThis job involves supporting students with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities- Implementing educational programs and activities for students.
- Providing support to students with special needs, including those with autism.
- Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop IEPs.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teaching staff.
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviours.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
The salary for this position is estimated at £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
