Britannia Superfine Ltd is a renowned business in the Chocolate industry, based in Polegate. We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our well-established and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of experience in an accounts department, with knowledge of Sage 50 accounts. Strong communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude are essential for this role. Key responsibilities include:
* Credit control: chasing outstanding payments
* Bank and cash reconciliations
* Processing invoices, credit notes, coding, and matching to the system
* EDI Invoicing
* Liaising with customers regarding invoice queries
* Allocating and processing payments
* Ad hoc finance administration
* Processing purchase ledger and sales ledger documents
* Supporting the team in preparation for audits
The successful candidate will be a team player with an eye for detail, a friendly approach, and excellent communication skills. They will be confident in using Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 Accounts. In return, we offer a competitive package including 20 days holiday plus BH, on-site free parking, pension, and a Christmas shutdown. This is a Monday-to-Friday, 35-hour-per-week role.
