Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and driven Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting their well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily personal care, maintaining their privacy, dignity, and respect.
- Assist with shopping, correspondence, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Prompt daily personal care, whilst maintaining privacy, dignity, and respect.
- Support individuals with planning and attending leisure or educational activities, such as day centres, college, gardening clubs, bingo, discos, meals out, bowling, holidays, and day trips.
- Administer medication and arrange medical appointments as required.
- Encourage and support individuals to maintain friendships and family links.
- Use our note-taking system to provide handover staff with important information.
Requirements
We are looking for a Support Worker who is enthusiastic, driven, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our service users. You will need to have a willingness to learn and undertake all mandatory training.
