The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for the production of financial accounts/reports, ensuring the finance systems and processes are robust and scalable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial accounts/reports, including production of monthly management accounts and regular group reports.
  • Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs, improving reporting accuracy.
  • Reconciling key balance sheet accounts and preparing year-end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS).
  • Compliance activities, including audit, tax, and statutory returns.
  • Providing technical accounting guidance on UK/international GAAP.
  • Supporting the Chief Financial Officer in preparation of plans/forecasts and ad hoc commercial projects.
About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or late-stages of qualification, with Manufacturing or Production Accounting experience. Experience of Peoplesoft or Coins accounting packages and construction/engineering experience would be an advantage.

You will be ambitious and resilient, with prior transactional staff management experience, ideally overseeing a team of 4 talented transactional staff. Prior systems implementation experience would be beneficial.
