Credit Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Supervisor to join our Finance team at HealthNet Homecare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the Credit Control function, managing and collecting debt owed to the company, and ensuring that customers adhere to their payment terms.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the Credit Control function, ensuring that all debt is collected in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review and analyze weekly Aged Debtors reports to identify areas for improvement and prioritize debt collection efforts.
- Work closely with the team to chase overdue debt and ensure that customers are aware of their payment obligations.
- Produce and issue monthly statements to customers, ensuring that all financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide regular reporting to management on debt collection efforts and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with customer queries and work closely with the query team to resolve any issues.
- Ensure that all housekeeping on the ledger is up-to-date and accurate.
- Build strong relationships with customers to improve the speed of receiving payments.
- Authorise annual leave for the team, ensuring that there is adequate cover.
- Monitor staff sickness and process returns to work.
- Ensure that the team adheres to all training requirements.
- Standardise processes for each role in the department.
- Perform 1-1s with each team member.
- Build good relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Comply with data protection and confidentiality regulations and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing a team.
- Experience with interacting with customers and staff via phone/email/video.
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
