Job Summary
HealthNet Homecare is seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in managing and collecting debt owed to the company.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and collect debt owed to the company, ensuring that customers adhere to their payment terms.
- Escalate problem accounts and work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues.
- Produce debtors reporting for management and ensure that overdue debt is kept within targets.
- Deal with customer invoice queries promptly and efficiently.
- Produce and issue monthly statements to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Allocate cash receipts to the receivable ledger daily, maintaining accurate records.
- Review credit applications and run credit check reports, making informed decisions about new customers.
- Set up credit terms for customers, ensuring that our company's financial interests are protected.
- Build strong relationships with customers to improve the speed of receiving payments, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that data protection and confidentiality regulations are upheld.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Credit Control, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers via phone, email, and video.
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- GCSE or equivalent pass in Maths and English Language, with a high level of IT competence.
