Job Summary

Greenwell Gleeson is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and controlling production and manufacturing accounts, as well as preparing monthly management accounts and regular group reports.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Full preparation and control of production and manufacturing accounts
  2. Preparation of monthly management accounts
  3. Preparation of regular group reports, including monthly management accounts, cash reporting, and quarterly statutory consolidation
  4. Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs while improving reporting accuracy
  5. Periodic site visits
  6. Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts
  7. Preparation of year-end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS)
  8. Compliance activities: audit, tax, and statutory returns
  9. Providing technical accounting guidance on UK and international GAAP
  10. Supporting the Chief Financial Officer in preparing plans and forecasts
  11. Supporting the Chief Financial Officer on ad hoc commercial projects
Requirements
  1. Qualified Accountant
  2. Manufacturing or production accounting experience
  3. Proven staff management and motivation skills
  4. Hands-on approach with attention to detail
  5. Strong skills in accuracy and attention to detail
  6. Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  7. Self-starter with minimal supervision
