Job Description:

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a new SEN school in Leeds. The successful candidate will work in a small KS1, KS2, and KS3 classroom on a Full-Time basis, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Attend to the pupils' personal needs and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid, and welfare matters.
  • Support the pupils' Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, supervising and supporting pupils to ensure their safety and access to learning.
  • Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of, and responding appropriately to individual needs.
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
  • Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
  • Encourage pupils to act independently as appropriate.
  • Support pupils in accessing learning activities as directed by the teacher.
  • Understand and support the varying needs of the pupils.
  • Support the physical, sensory, communication, and learning needs of the pupils.
