About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Strengthening and Supporting Families teams in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing and supporting the delivery of high-standard social work practice, managing a caseload of children and young people, and assessing their needs for services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of children and young people, and provide and identify effective support and intervention.
- Co-produce plans with families that meet their needs, and review plans to ensure they are effective.
- Provide and support high-quality social work practice with increasing decision-making autonomy in situations of increasing complexity, risk, uncertainty, and challenge.
- Undertake Section 17 assessments, Child Protection, PLO, and private and public court proceedings.
Team and Location
The successful candidate will be part of our Strengthening and Supporting Families teams, which support families in the long term. The role will be based in either Goole or Beverley, with the opportunity to work with a diverse range of families and individuals.
