About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join our Legal Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a varied and large caseload, including all aspects of commercial property law.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial property law and will be able to provide expert advice on a range of matters, including sale and purchase documentation, auction packs, drafting and negotiating leases and development agreements, unregistered and registered title investigations, Leasehold Reform Act applications, licences, tenant default and commercial debt advice.

You will also be required to support junior members of the team as required and assist with training trainee solicitors while providing a range of advice on property legislation to various officers within the Council as well as Councillors and senior management.
