Job Description

Girbau UK is a leading provider of comprehensive laundry solutions for the industrial, commercial, and vended sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the North West of England.

About the Role
This field-based role will involve developing new customer relationships and promoting Girbau products to meet sales objectives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an understanding of longer capital equipment sales cycles. They will also possess excellent presentation skills and be comfortable with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop new business through active prospecting, self-generated appointments, and following up leads added to the Salesforce CRM system
* Manage your own diary of meetings to generate sales of the range of commercial laundry equipment on a purchase or rental basis
* Take ownership of your sales territory to build and develop relationships
* Expand Girbau's reputation within the marketplace in core identified sectors
* Attend trade shows, workshops, and exhibitions as appropriate

Requirements
* A highly motivated attitude towards targets, goal-oriented with a passion to succeed
* A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an understanding of longer capital equipment sales cycles
* Excellent presentation skills
* Previous Commercial Laundry sector experience is preferred but not essential

Benefits
* Competitive salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends)
* Full UK driving licence required for extensive travel throughout the region
