Job Title: Dementia Support Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dementia Support Coordinator.

Your primary role will be to provide support and companionship to individuals affected by dementia, encouraging them to engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

As a Dementia Support Coordinator, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement programs that support individuals affected by dementia and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals affected by dementia, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Lead group activities, such as puzzles, quizzes, and arts and crafts
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
