About the Role

We are expanding our Sales team and are looking for a Senior Client Development Director to join our team. As an integral part of our sales team, you will be responsible for both new business and growth from existing accounts for our experiential events division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the strategic vision for new business sales and growth from existing accounts.
  • Leadership and day-to-day management of team members, including mentoring and development.
  • Preparation and presentation of quarterly strategy updates.
  • Ownership of new proposals, tenders, and RFPs, including delivery of presentations and pitches, and creation of case studies.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.
  • Maintaining a commercial perspective on proposals and ensuring clients receive best value solutions.
  • Implementing a new business strategy, including target accounts, engagement plans, client activity, industry events, and awards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in new business sales, with a strong background in experiential events.
  • Leadership and management experience, including mentoring and development.
  • Ability to translate revenue targets into clear and actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to maintain a commercial perspective on proposals.
