We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Priory Group, supporting the delivery of exceptional care to patients in need.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, where you will work closely with Registered Nurses to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their dignity, wellbeing, and treatment needs are met.

You will assist qualified staff with routine tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, while also observing and monitoring patient wellbeing. If you have excellent observational and listening skills, this could be the ideal opportunity for you to make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient assessments and care planning, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed.
  • Provide practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs.
  • Observe and monitor patient wellbeing, referring any unusual occurrences to senior staff or the primary nurse.
  • Contribute to a team approach to patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
