About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development, and who is looking to make a meaningful impact in education.

Responsibilities:

  • You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting learning objectives.
  • You will provide one-to-one or small group support to children, including those with additional needs.
  • You will support classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
  • You will assist with the preparation of lesson materials and resources.
  • You will work collaboratively with the teaching team to implement tailored learning interventions.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 UK child-related qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, etc.).
  • A current Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, supporting children in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for education.
