Automotive Industry Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Motorsport Workshop Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic workshop environment while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum and opportunities for professional development.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working on motorsport preparation and/or restoration of classic, high performance and prestige motor vehicles, as well as excellent leadership and organisational skills. As the Motorsport Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team, maintaining workshop standards, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Develop and implement workshop procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies
- Monitor and control workshop expenses to ensure compliance with company policies
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company's products and services
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management
Requirements:
- IMI Level 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant automotive discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role or higher-level position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
