About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as Director of Sales, EMEA. As a key member of our global sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market share across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding results.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize sales of Pearson technology solutions in the Medium Enterprise space.
  • Build a robust enterprise sales pipeline through outbound sales development and collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Coach, lead, and develop a team of salespeople to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.
  • Deliver effective performance monitoring and management to maximize engagement, achievement, and retention within the sales team.
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share across the EMEA region.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a strong background in B2B sales.
  • Excellent coaching and people management skills, with the ability to apply Situational Leadership principles.
  • Strong analytical skills, including historical sales analysis, pricing, and forecasting.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop innovative multi-level strategies to build medium-long term business pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to operate in a matrix-reporting environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment, with a strong understanding of cultural differences and nuances.
