Job Title: Medical Training Initiative Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Medical Training Initiative Lead for our client, a professional membership organisation dedicated to advancing the healthcare field. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in this dynamic industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive management of trainee and educator support, communications, and engagement. As the primary contact for both trainees and trainers, you will play a vital role in enhancing involvement through innovative outreach, outstanding customer service, and cross-departmental collaboration. Key responsibilities include overseeing and administering all aspects of the medical training initiative, as well as line-managing the Training Engagement Coordinator and FTC Training Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time maternity cover contract - 12 months
- Salary: up to £49,500 pa
- Hybrid working pattern: home based combined with minimum 2 days a week in the London office

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience and understanding of medical careers
- Experience of successfully managing relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Strong experience of managing committees, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and action tracking in a professional environment
- Ability to line manage and motivate staff, including setting objectives, undertaking performance reviews, and appraisals
