About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maternity Administrator to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our maternity services, ensuring seamless communication and efficient administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line reception services and administrative support to all areas of the maternity service
  • Collect, investigate, verify, and record patient demographic and treatment data with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Enter patient information into the computerized patient information system in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support the delivery of high-quality patient care by undertaking effective forward planning and administration processes
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience of working in a public/patient-facing role, with previous work in a team and receptionist or similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to manage and resolve difficult situations
  • Computer literate, with experience of using electronic patient administration systems
