Maternity Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maternity Administrator to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our maternity services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a front-line reception service and administrative function to all areas of the maternity service.
- Deliver a high standard of customer care to a wide range of client groups.
- Collect, investigate, verify, and record patient demographic and treatment data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enter patient information on the computerized patient information system in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure the trust receives the appropriate level of income for patient activity and maintains compliance with national NHS targets.
- Undertake effective forward planning to ensure the administrative needs of the service are met.
- Carry out a range of effective administration processes to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience of working in a public/patient-facing role, with previous work experience in a receptionist or similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage and resolve difficult situations.
- Computer literacy and experience of using electronic patient administration systems.
- A professional, enthusiastic, and positive attitude to work, with self-motivation and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
