Job Title: Advanced Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Pharmacist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, with experience in leading and managing clinical pharmacy services. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on clinical pharmacy matters.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, delivering and promoting high-quality, cost-effective, patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
Requirements
  • MPharm degree or equivalent.
  • Registered pharmacist with a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Postgraduate diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
