Opportunity Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) team at London Bridge Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

About the Role

As a Senior Staff Nurse on our ITU unit, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, leading by example, and mentoring junior nurses.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of consultant intensivists, critical care resident medical officers, and critical care nurses to provide dedicated, continuous, specialised care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork within the department.
  • Mentor and support junior nurses, developing their skills and confidence.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement projects to continually improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
  • Cardiac or General ITU-specific skills and experience.
  • Extensive experience working within Critical Care.
  • Critical Care Course (60 Credits).
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

In addition to a generous salary, we offer:

  • 25 days holiday each year (plus bank holidays), increasing with service, with option to buy or sell leave to suit you.
