Coburg Banks Technical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our elderly residential service in Southport. With a salary of £38,000 to start, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a strong and effective leader who can promote a caring environment that provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care. As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, including CQC, health & safety and local authority requirements.

The successful candidate will have previous managerial experience in an elderly residential home and possess leadership qualities, effective communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a strong understanding of the regulations in relation to care homes, including CQC standards, and be able to ensure these are met and maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote a caring environment that provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Manage the service and its resources effectively, economically and efficiently.
  • Lead and develop the team, providing required levels of supervision, training and support.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of a level 3 in health & social care and demonstrate strong leadership qualities, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience as a Deputy Manager will also be considered.
