GI Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner in GI Oncology to join their multidisciplinary team.
The estimated salary for this role is £42,746 - £51,669 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week.
About the RoleYour primary responsibility will be to provide support for patients and their families navigating complex cancer pathways.
- As a Nurse Practitioner, you will undertake Nurse-led clinics and work autonomously to provide information on GI Cancer Diagnosis.
- You will translate information into clear language, ensuring patients understand their next steps on their cancer pathway.
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A Registered Nurse qualification (Level 1).
- Experience at Band 5 or equivalent, preferably within a relevant specialty.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
