Housing Operations Role
We are seeking a skilled Administration Officer to provide support to our team in Housing Operations.
As a key member of the admin team, you will be responsible for providing flexible, efficient, and professional support to colleagues dealing with housing standards in the rented housing sector, delivery of adaptations for disabled people, empty homes, and home improvements.
You will act as the first point of contact for members of the public, other Council staff, and external agencies, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to the Housing Operations team
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, members of the public, and external agencies
- Working with key IT systems and following complex internal processes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need experience of office/clerical work, including dealing with queries from members of the public and communicating effectively with colleagues.
You must also be able to pick up working with key IT systems and follow complex internal processes.
