About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological interventions and support to children, young people, and their families.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology and be registered with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner (Clinical) Psychologist. You will have a strong understanding of psychological assessment, intervention, and management, as well as excellent communication and consultation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychological interventions and group interventions and trainings
  • Support the Consultant Psychologist in developing psychological thinking within the team and undertaking service development projects
  • Lead new psychological initiatives within the service and actively grow the psychological skills of other team members
  • Provide clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists and Psychological Therapists
