Job Information

Northumberland County Council is seeking a Claims and Finance Manager to join the Finance and Performance Team. This challenging role involves managing and reviewing staff, compiling and submitting grant claims, and monitoring budgets.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in a claims environment and proven management skills. As part of a team of 11 staff members, you will be responsible for financial management, monitoring, and reporting of externally funded projects in Northumberland and the wider Northeast area.

We require a team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence policy and coordinate regeneration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Senior-level experience in a claims environment
  • Project budget management and monitoring
  • Knowledge of financial administration procedures and systems within a public organization

Benefits:

Salary: Estimated £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
