Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regeneration Finance Specialist to join our team at Triumph Consultants Limited.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, particularly in the public sector, with a proven track record of managing grant-funded programs and projects. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial legislation, regulations, and national policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Council's Accountable Body function in relation to project and program development and delivery by the Regeneration and Economy service.
  • Advise the Head of Service, Executive Director of Regeneration, and s151 Officer on policy development and maintenance.
  • Lead the corporate development, adoption, and enactment of financial management, performance monitoring, and reporting policies to minimize financial and reputational risk.
  • Play a leading role in securing the effective management of the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal and provide professional advice to the Borderlands Program Management Office.
  • Manage a team of professional staff through effective performance management and appraisals to meet service and directorate objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, a relevant professional qualification, and membership of an appropriate professional body. They should also possess strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages or equivalent.

Estimated Salary: £30,140 per annum (based on a 37-hour week).
