As a key member of the Sodexo team, you will oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service. Your expertise in large-scale cooking and menu development will be essential in driving the success of our culinary offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the replenishment of food and the dismantling of work areas at the end of service.
- Develop, mentor, and train the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results.
- Control labour, food, and stock expenses to optimize costs.
- Ensure uniformity in food and service standards across all areas.
- Manage menu creation and development to meet customer needs.
- Conduct routine audits to maintain high standards.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in cooking for large groups, ideally 100-1300 students.
- Experience following recipes and working with fresh produce.
- Previous staff supervision or line management experience.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures and ability to work under pressure.
- Basic food handling skills certification, such as NVQ Level 2 or Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £14-£16.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours.
- Term-time only, with access to public transport and free parking on site.
