Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Manager to join our team at Whitehall Recruitment LTD. This is an exciting opportunity for a laboratory professional to take on a leadership role and drive the development of our paints, inks, and coatings products.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory management and a deep understanding of the technical requirements of the coatings industry. They will be responsible for managing the laboratory workload, leading a team of laboratory staff, and providing technical service to support product trials and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the laboratory workload in line with customer demands and business priorities.
  • Lead and manage laboratory staff.
  • Provide on-site technical service, supporting product trials and assisting in problem-solving.
  • Maintain management records relating to technical work conducted.
  • Answer internal and external technical queries on products.
  • Conduct practical laboratory work where required.
  • Assist the Technical Manager in managing the company's technical affairs.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety standards are maintained, and the laboratory is kept in a clean and tidy condition.

Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
