Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Car Drivers, providing patient transport services in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, North, and West Essex.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collect patients from their homes, ensuring they have their appointment cards, medications, and secure their homes before transport.
  • Assist patients safely into the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Have a valid, full driving license with no more than three penalty points.
  • Own a vehicle with at least four seats, four doors, and seat belts in the front and rear.
  • Reimbursement for mileage driven, paid at rates compliant with HM Revenue and Customs.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of geographic areas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
