Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to join our team at Merville Barracks, Colchester. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support in the delivery of our fleet transport service to the MOD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of a cost-effective fleet transport service to the MOD
  • Conduct regular service and health and safety audits using Sodexo's IT system
  • Collaborate effectively with MOD customers to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Input transport bookings into our transport database
  • Produce reports using our IT systems and software
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team
Requirements
  • Practical numerical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • 2 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent; or NVQ Business Administration
  • IT qualification and/or skills in word and excel
  • Capable typing and administration skills
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and welfare in the workplace
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Customer service-focused
  • Willing to learn and develop own skills

Package Details
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm / Friday 8am-4pm
