Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Support Specialist to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will provide exceptional domestic services to patients, staff, and visitors across our premises.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this role is £9.50-£10.45 per hour (pro-rata), depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a minimum of 27 days annual leave, 8 days of public holidays, and paid sick leave increasing with length of service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment through effective cleaning methods and procedures.
  • Work alongside new staff in the working environment.
Requirements
  • Cleaning standards knowledge and related procedures.
  • On-the-job training and induction for full competency.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety and risk-assessing tasks.
  • NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training.
  • Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) standards.
  • NHSS Domestic Services Workbook completion.
