Care Worker - Part-time Opportunity

Pebbles Care Limited is seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Child Care Worker.

As a part-time employee, you will work approximately 35 hours per week on a rota pattern of one day on and two days off (48 hours). The role involves supporting children and young people with their daily needs, including school preparation, household chores, and activities.

Our team provides expert advice and training from our psychology, education, and learning and development specialists, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to excel in this rewarding role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Your primary responsibility will be safeguarding children and young people from risk and harm.
  • You will provide support on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis, helping children with their daily needs and promoting their well-being.
  • Additionally, you may be required to drive company vehicles to transport children and young people to appointments, education, and activities.
Requirements:
  • To be successful in this role, you must have a full, valid UK driving licence for manual vehicles.
  • You should be highly responsible and accountable when it comes to safeguarding children and young people.
  • A keen interest in pursuing relevant child care qualifications and training is essential.
